Janet (Jan) Cockayne (Booth)

Kathy was one of the kindest and most generous friends I have ever had. She and I could laugh ourselves silly over Mr. Paulsen's history lessons, then sneak out of class. She and I maintained a friendship to the end and I look forward to seeing her on the other side.

DEATH: KATHLEEN K. ELLIBEE

A cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Kathleen Orrock Kent Ellibee, age 42, passed away peacefully October 18, 1994, at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah, following a lingering illness.

Kathleen was born May 24, 1952, in Richfield, Utah, to Joseph Clair and Altha LaVeen Hicks Orrock. She married Randy Ellibee on November 28, 1990, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Graduated from East High, Class of '70. She worked for several years for the U.S. Government (Farmer's Home of the Veteran's Administration), following which she became a self employed financial consultant. In the face of her afflictions and physical limitations, Kathleen kept a positive outlook, a gleam in her eye and a hearty love of life. We'll miss you immensely, Kathleen!Surviving Kathleen are her husband, Randy, and son, Eric R.; mother, Altha; a brother, Stan; and nine sisters, Beverly, Elaine, Anna Lou, Lucille, Donna, Janice, Merideth, Marilyn and Susan. She is also survived by her special friend, Eileen Rasmussen.

Kathleen's funeral will be Friday, October 21, 1 p.m., at the Grandview 3rd Ward, 2930 So. 2000 East. Friends may call Thursday, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East, and at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
