Roseanna Mary Cunningham

Age 61, of Denver, died peacefully Feb. 9, 2013. Born a Christmas baby (1951) to Audrey (Hirte) and Harold Weidenbacher in Salt Lake City, where she graduated from East High School. Graduate of Lamar, CO Community College (nursing), and later, proudly volunteered at University Hospital in Denver. Married Daniel K. Cunningham, May 27, 1977 in Layton, UT. Proud mother of two daughters, Zanna loved homemaking; was excellent cook, gardener, artisan, and seamstress. Loved dogs, showing Annie to a best opposite win at Santa Barbara Kennel Club. Life experiences included volunteer EMT, co-publisher Kiowa County Press (Eads, CO), and President of Eads Chamber of Commerce. Inspired many with her wit and courage as a quadriplegic in later years. Many thanks to the sta! at Highline Rehab & Care Community and Cherry Creek Nursing Center. Survivors include her longtime husband (present at her passing); daughters, Carly, of Denver, and Katharine (Ben Pressgrove), of St. Paul, MN; mother Audrey (Pete) Peterson, sister Ann (Ralph) Harmer, brothers Mark (Suzanne) and Paul, all of the Salt Lake City area; brother Karl (Lori), of Port Orchard, WA; numerous cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews, and grand nieces. Predeceased by her father and brother, John. Her request for cremation was honored. Memorial service planned for May in Utah. Memorials preferred to the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Center, 8845 Wagner St, Westminster, CO 80031.
