Rosalie Booth VIEW PROFILE

Rosalie Booth passed away April 22, 2026 from Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born on April 7, 1952, in Salt Lake City to Oscar Goldsbrough and Janet Green Booth.

Rosalie graduated from East High School, and the University of Utah and had several different careers; she worked as a Youth Counselor at the Salt Lake Girls Club, as a Pharmacy Tech at Lowe’s Pharmacy and at the University of Utah before returning to Westminster to earn her degree in elementary education. She loved teaching kindergarten at Jackson Elementary, where she taught for many years.

Rosalie loved her book club, walking group and felt deeply loved by her Monument Park Ward family whom she loved right back. Rosalie loved to serve and was generous with her talents, especially her needlepoint pincushions. She loved celebrations and having a tour of her enthusiastically and decorated condo was a highlight of every holiday.

Rosalie had a sweet and trusting testimony of the Savior and Heavenly Father that was always very important to her. We know that she is having a wonderful reunion with her parents, brother, nephews, grandparents, cousins and aunts and uncles since she has gone on.

Most especially, Rosalie had a special love for her family: her sister and brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is survived by her sister, Allison Lowe (Michael), her brother Paul Booth and her nieces and nephews: Emily Mecham, Amanda Booth, Megan Lowe, Matthew Lowe, Austin Booth, David Lowe, and Adrienne Pahnke. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Curtis Booth, nephew Oscar Marques Booth, and grandnephew Karl Lowe.

A graveside service will be held Saturday May 9, 2026 at 11:00 at Wasatch Lawn, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, UT 84106. All family and friends are invited to attend.

We greatly appreciate the tender care for Rosalie from the staff at Spring Gardens in Holladay.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Perpetual Education Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
