Who was your favorite East High teacher? Why?

I had a lot of teachers that impacted me but Lorraine Bowman and Miss Wangsgard, (The teacher that no one else liked.) are the most memorable. Miss Wangsgard taught me that I actually was good at math and was my friend. She shared more great books with me than any English teacher I had. Lorraine Bowman pushed me to the limit and was furious when I didn't reach the bar she set. She truly knew the meaning of tough love and I knew she would always have my back. I'm tearing up right now thinking of how we lost her so tragically. One of the worst days of my life.
