Ted Weight - Since I didn't get a lot of minutes in the games he told me I needed to contribute in other ways to the teams success. I made the effort and my teammates voted me most inspirational player, an honor I still cherish. Thanks coach.

Miss Bowman - After I tried out for Madrigals she told me she loved my voice but since I had been late for Jr Choir class every day for almost a year (it was at 8:00 am every day - flexible scheduling wasn't a good thing for me) she would not select me to sing in the group. I was devastated but haven't been late for anything since. My kids will testify, we're early for everything. Thanks Miss Bowman for teaching the virtue of punctuality. Some lessons are worth the sacrifice.

My claim to fame as 12th man on the basketball team was the Murray game. I entered the game with 2 minutes and 30 seconds left. I scored 10 points and fouled out. After the game Coach Weight told me to leave my hatchets at home next time.
