In Memory

Ann Gibson VIEW PROFILE

Dear Mom,

We are writing to you to celebrate your beautiful life which was completed on February 7, 2000, at the age of 48. We know your parents, Judge Robert C. Gibson and Myrle J. Peterson loved you tremendously when they brought you into this world on November 16, 1951. Your first adventures were inspired by your loving siblings, Susan Fowler, Rebecca Jones, Jane Ewer, and Paul Gibson. In your youth, you developed lifelong friends that will forever cherish your memory, especially our Dad, Jordan M. Hughes. Together, our family was created through marriage on October 13, 1971 and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple February 7, 1973. Your accomplishments were many including graduation from the University of Utah School of Nursing, followed by a successful career. Among many church callings, your favorite was teaching the children in the Primary. Your selfless desire to serve others will always be your greatest attribute in our hearts. The strength, will, and courage through your illness is something we hope to instill in your grandchildren: Haley, Carter, and Logan. You gave us more of your life than we could have ever expected. Now you are being taken care of by our Heavenly Father. We will carry your memory always.

Love, your children, Teresa Ann Peacock, Jordan Matthew Hughes, Elizabeth Leah Hind, Robert Tyler Hughes.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2000 at the Parley's 3rd Ward, 2615 E. Stringham Ave. Friends may call at 10 a.m. with services at 11:30 a.m. Interment at the Wasatch Lawn. Under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
